I think that we all know that the future is full of Microsoft Surface technology, and I look forward to the day when every table or desk is a touchscreen.

This touchscreen is very useful for all.

DISPLAX, made by a Portuguese company, is prepared for an age where every tabletop, wall, or any large flat (or even curved) surface could be a touchscreen. DISPLAX is a thinner-than-paper polymer film that can be applied to glass, plastic, or wood and can detect up to 16 touches at once.

I don’t know about you, but I’m starting to think of some good uses already. In fact, my dream house will have DISPLAX as wall-paper in every room. Read the rest of this entry »

Chargepod gets an upgrade

Tagged Under : , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

The new Chargepod will charge even bigger gadgets and at an even larger price.  Sure it’ll make it possible to carry less chargers when you’re traveling, which is ideal with a big family of gadget lovers.  However, it’s a convenience that’ll cost you.

This one will give your cellphone, laptop, camera and other devices the power that they crave.  All of those devices plug into the Chargepod and the Chargepod itself only takes up one of your outlets.  You’ll need different cable tips to accommodate your different devices and each one will probably cost you about $10 a piece.  Then for the device itself it’ll cost you about $200.

We’ve all been there when your juice has gone in your mobile phone or device its game over.

Rather then carrying extra juice packs and chargers this innovative concept by Song Teaho & Hyejin Lee allows you to charge your devices battery with a few quick spins on your finger.

Well approx. 130 revolutions to be exact to help you make that import call and keep you going until a full charge.

Might be a little tricky on the current version of the iPhone at the moment. But anything to help keep your devices juiced up has to be a good thing.

HTC Touch Pro2 (T-Mobile)

Tagged Under : , , ,

The good: The HTC Touch Pro2 features a sharp, spacious touch screen and an easy-to-use full QWERTY keyboard. The Windows Mobile smartphone also includes conference call management tools for business users and offers good call quality. It also has 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

The bad: The smartphone is heavy and bulky. Onboard memory is low, and we would have liked an upgraded camera. It’s a bit pricey.

The bottom line: Though hefty in size and price, the HTC Touch Pro2 offers T-Mobile’s business customers a powerful smartphone with robust messaging, voice capabilities, and a slick user interface.
