Windows Mobile powered Pocket PCs were once the dominant PDA on the market. Changes in the handheld market between 2003 and 2006 shifted device manufacturers away from standalone PDAs and to converged PDA Phones and Smartphones. There are still a few Pocket PCs sold today, sometimes now referred to as Windows Mobile Classic PDAs.
